Brilliant small cafe in York city centre. I’ve been coming here for a while and tried most of the delicious pastries on offer and I’ve tried pies and bread. The NYC rolls are so good as are the cruffins. The bread is very nice too especially the focaccia but the beef rendang pies are out of this world and are huge. Only problem here is, you will have trouble choosing something as it all looks so good

Called here today after a recommendation. We will definitely call again. Beautiful pastries, lovely cappuccino and nice place to sit. We shared (as it was so big) an orange and blueberry pastry and it was sooooo tasty. My friend had pan au chocolate, she said it was very buttery and my daughter had matcha cookie. We all agreed how nice they were. Can’t wait to call again ☺️

OMG I’m over 50 and I’ve had a lot of cakes/pastries in my life but I can safely say the Cherry and Almond Cruffin is the best I’ve ever sampled. Fresh, light and the surprise of cream and cherry in the middle. Simply sublime - will be back without a doubt!!

Lovely bakery and coffee shop. The coffee is excellent, best I've had in York. Bakery is superb, loved the garlic knot and the lemon tart, could have easily worked my way through everything, the pies look incredible, as does all the bread. Nice vibe inside too

Popped in to get a dessert after a meal in town. They had unfortunately sold out of half of their items (around 1:15 p.m. on a Friday) so proof really was in the pudding that their sweet and savoury items are exceptional and not to be missed. The cafe has a number of tables available and sells bread, cakes, pies, cookies, tarts, biscuits and coffee. I’ve had a croissant here previously and it’s probably one of the best I have ever had.
We had a selection of pastries and whilst the items were slightly expensive, I had no complaints after eating mine and would definitely spend my money here again. The food is exquisite and the staff are great. You need to go!- Service

My first visit to Little Arras and I’m very impressed! I just had a coffee (excellent!) but I couldn’t stop looking at the amazing array of pastries and the wonderful bread. I guess it’s a bakery with cafe facilities rather than a cafe that also sells baked goods. I liked the decor-quite industrial with metal beams etc and the painted panel. Staff were lovely! Recommended!

This was a gem of a find. We needed somewhere that opened at 0800 as we had a day of York activities starting at 0900 and this was the only place we could find. However we were really glad we did. The pastries were amazing and huge. All of us loved them though we should probably shared. Can't recommend enough.

A lovely bakery in York city centre 😍 such a range of selection, my partner and I went for the curried chicken pie and the sausage and black pudding roll. Definitely recommend!!Absolutely delicious and value for money. Coffee was great too. Wanted to try some sweet treats but we were too full! Next time though for sure. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere 🙂

Lovely coffee and amazing baked goods! We came after seeing a post about the roll croissant but sadly they’d already sold out by 11am! So instead we had a couple of other things instead, they were all really lovely especially the raspberry and lemon croissant!

Dog Friendly 😁👍 We dropped in on a busy Saturday, it was a warm and pleasant place to refresh. We'd some awesome pastries and lovely coffee. Bread looks fantastic and there was a constant line at the counter collecting loaves. Whilst there was a good selection of pastries, I'd guess it pays to get in early...
Lovely fresh baked goods, at very good prices. Gets very busy whenever it opens, but is worth waiting in the queue for how good everything is. Recommend trying a cruffin (croissant/muffin combo) and any of their traditional croissants. Also stock good quality coffee beans from Square Mile Coffee
